Perched near the historic villages of Callian and Montauroux, the beautiful house La Cachette Verte offers captivating view and quiet peace.
Surrounded by greenery and complete tranquillity, the house feels wonderfully secluded, yet Callian, Montauroux and everyday shopping are all close by. Once you arrive, there is a rare sense of leaving the outside world behind and simply enjoying the pace of life in Provence.
This is not an anonymous holiday rental. Everything in the house has been chosen with the same care and quality we would expect in our own home. With three bedrooms, a private pool, air conditioning, barbecue and everything needed for a comfortable stay, it is a place designed for long lunches, quiet mornings and time together.
Because La Cachette Verte is very personal to us, we only share it with a limited number of guests who we trust will enjoy and look after the house as we do.
LOCATION
Our house is ideally located in the heart of Provence, between the two historic villages of Callian and Montauroux. The setting gives you the best of both worlds: peace, nature and the atmosphere of the Provençal countryside, while the French Riviera is still within easy reach. Nice Airport is around 50 minutes away, and once you leave the A8 at Fayence/Les Adrets de l’Esterel, the holiday feeling really begins.
Montauroux is a charming hilltop village with around 6,200 inhabitants. The old village rises above the surrounding countryside and offers beautiful views across the Pays de Fayence. The area enjoys more than 300 days of sunshine a year, and the narrow streets, village square and traditional houses give Montauroux a very authentic Provençal atmosphere.
Callian is smaller, with around 3,500 inhabitants, and has its own distinct character. The medieval village winds around the hillside below its historic castle, with small streets, terraces and wonderful views across the wooded hills. From the higher parts of the village, you can even see towards the Mediterranean in the distance.
Both Callian and Montauroux can be reached on foot in around 15 minutes, making it easy to enjoy the local cafés, restaurants and markets without always taking the car. The location is also ideal for exploring the wider region, with the Mediterranean coast around 30 km away and the nearest ski area approximately 40 km from the house.
